AeA, the nation's largest high-tech trade association, today announced that it will host the 8th Annual AeA Micro Cap Financial Conference from May 7-9 at the Monterey Plaza Hotel in Monterey, California. Over 100 companies representing 25 states will present at the conference. Its unique, neutral format allows executives from over 100 technology companies and more than 300 investors to pair off for intimate small group discussions around technologies, strategic missions, trend analyses and investment potential.

"The critical importance for high-tech executives to meet directly with investors and analysts to explain their strategies for growth amidst current business conditions drove the high demand for space at the Micro Cap this year," said William T. Archey, President and CEO, AeA. "The presentation format is ideally suited for the frank, one-on-one discussions that need to take place now to establish relationships between investors and high-tech companies in the future."

Known for its intimate structure, the exclusive AeA Micro Cap Conference typically limits attendance to 100 companies, however, due to high demand, AeA has revised the two-day conference schedule to accommodate up to 120 companies.

Each company will be limited to one six-minute general session presentation. Following the general sessions, companies will hold six thirty- minute breakout meetings with investors in their private meeting rooms. Each company presenting during Monday's general session will host six breakout meetings on Monday afternoon, and a different group of companies present during Tuesday's general session, followed by six breakout meetings on Tuesday afternoon.

Companies representing every sector and region of the high-technology industry will present their business plans at the AeA Micro Cap Conference this year. Sectors include software, computer hardware, semiconductor, telecommunications, wireless, defense technology, security, and medical devices.

States represented are Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Utah, Virginia Washington, and Wisconsin.
