The Symbio Group ("Symbio"), a global provider of engineering-focused software development, globalization and testing services, is pleased to announce that Jacob Hsu has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer and Ernie Huang has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer.

Jacob Hsu was previously the Chief Marketing Officer for Symbio and also served as Managing Director in charge of the company's North American operations. In his new role, he will fully integrate the Business Development and Business Delivery teams worldwide so that clients can work with a high-touch staff of local professionals, while keeping support costs low by maintaining the product, technology and service bureau backbone in an offshore development center. Mr. Hsu joined Symbio in 1998 and has previously headed Symbio's U.S. and Japanese operations, as well as led Symbio's investment and corporate development initiatives. Prior to joining Symbio, he was the CEO of Trilogica Technologies.
Ernie Huang was previously the Managing Director of Symbio's Taiwan Business Unit and oversaw local business development and all product delivery. As CTO, he will ensure uniform global delivery through increased standardization of technologies and processes. Mr. Huang co-founded Symbio and has more than 17 years of experience in the software industry.
