An expert in Software as a Service (SaaS), Kirwan joins the company at a significant stage in its growth, after having achieved 105 percent revenue increase in 2005.


With over 15 years of experience in the computer industry, Peter Kirwan has successfully founded, sold, and managed companies in the Internet technology, consumer products and entertainment industries. In the late 1990's he sold Servercast Communications, a NYC-based company he co-founded, to NaviSite, which was owned by CMGI at the time. Servercast was one of the industry's first companies to offer managed application hosting, a model later adopted by NaviSite. Kirwan served as Chief Technology Officer for NaviSite through a successful IPO, with the Company reaching a peak market cap of $30 billion. While at NaviSite, Kirwan's additional roles included leading the emerging technology group and streaming media divisions, in addition to executing mergers and acquisitions activity. Prior to NaviSite, he founded Media Access Systems, Inc., one of the first commercial Internet server hosting companies.
