Loftware, Inc. is a leading, independent developer of automatic identification solutions focused on enterprise supply chain applications. Its solutions are compatible with leading databases and compliant with leading industry's standards, Loftware offers industry-first innovations in legacy barcode applications as well as next-generation RFID implementations as well as products that bridge an existing investment in barcode technology with users entering the RFID arena. The Company's solutions are sold directly and through VAR and ISV channel partners.
RFID is an emerging technology used in supply chain applications as an auto-identification application. For over twenty years, Loftware has been a leader in the development of enterprise-class barcode software for the supply chain industry.
«Some industry experts believe that RFID will eventually take the place of barcodes within manufacturing and logistics», states Eric L. Anderson, Chief Executive Officer of Loftware. «We believe barcodes and RFID will live hand-in-hand for a while due to sheer economics, but eventually RFID technology could be the preferred technology in the supply chain market. Our decision to relocate to Portsmouth was compelling because our new facility will provide space for current and future expansions, as well as give us access to a demographically large and highly skilled work force.»
George Bald, Executive Director of Pease Development Authority (PDA), looks forward to Loftware's relocation. «We are delighted that the facilities at Pease International can assist in job generation for the seacoast region as well as provide economic growth for our state. Loftware is continuously evolving and adapting its technologies to the current and emerging needs of the supply chain and we are very pleased they have chosen to locate at Pease International.»
