NBTA 2006 International Convention and Exposition-Farelogix Inc. and BookingBuilder Technologies today announced that the companies have signed an agreement to integrate direct connect content from the Farelogix FLX™ Platform into the BookingBuilder™ Desktop. Through this agreement, over 6,500 BookingBuilder Desktop users will gain access to travel content sourced directly from the reservation systems of many of the world's leading airlines, including AirTran, American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Emirates Airlines, Northwest Airlines, and Spirit Airlines. Integration between the two products will be completed by the end of July 2006.

"Our relationship with Farelogix enables us to expand our distribution beyond Web content to direct content from travel suppliers," said David Kunze, CTC, President of BookingBuilder Technologies. "This means that all travel agencies we work with can now cost effectively access a whole content solution and gain a competitive edge in the corporate market. In the current distribution environment, this integration fills the market need."

The Farelogix FLX Platform is an alternative distribution system with a highly scalable plug and play architecture that enables the seamless integration with various agency and corporate point of sale applications. Once the integration with the Platform is completed, travel agents using the BookingBuilder Desktop will be able to access more content, yet continue to work in the same way without further training. The BookingBuilder Desktop currently enables travel management companies to quickly and easily find Web content and make travel reservations directly on supplier Web sites.

"The BookingBuilder Desktop enables us to support the travel needs of corporations of all sizes. Like other agencies however, we are continually looking for ways to improve our service and create efficiencies across our organization," said Rock Blanco, Chief Technology Officer at Atlas Travel. "At the present time, licensing an alternative distribution system does not make sense for an agency of our size; but it is great to know that we can still benefit from the latest technology via BookingBuilder Desktop. We are looking forward to seeing the integrated solution." Atlas Travel is a long time BookingBuilder customer located in Milford, MA.

"By teaming with BookingBuilder Technologies, we can immediately broaden our reach to agencies that would otherwise not be able to leverage the direct connect agreements we have in place with the world's leading travel suppliers," said Jim Davidson, president and CEO of Farelogix. "It's a relationship that reinforces our strategy of providing a total content solution that optimizes distribution and benefits all corporations, regardless of what size agency they use."

Farelogix will be in Hall D/Booth #1132 at the NBTA International Convention taking place in Chicago from July 16 - 19. David Cerino, Chief Marketing and Product Officer at Farelogix, will be participating in NBTA seminar track TT4, which focuses on content distribution and takes place on July 18th from 8:30am - 9:45am.
