Active Control Technology Inc. (the "Company") (TSX-V: ACT) is pleased to announce that its commercialization strategy to manufacture the CLiK64(TM) as a private label product for access control Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) is proceeding as expected. In addition to record sales in January and March 2006, the Company has record orders of $375,000 to be shipped within the next 90 days.
The steady increase in sales and orders is directly related to a supply agreement signed with a large OEM multinational in the access control industry (ACT press release - Sept. 28/05). This customer is purchasing CLiK64(TM) transmitters and receivers programmed with a unique set of coding data exclusive to their own brand of products being marketed, sold and distributed on a global basis.
The current application of the CLiK64(TM) is being used to allow individuals secure wireless access to their condos, office buildings and parking lots. The benefit of custom coding to an OEM is additional protection of their service revenue dollars lost from end users switching security monitoring contracts to a competitor. No other company known to management offers these unique coding capabilities for OEMs.
The Company's proprietary CLiK64(TM) hardware and software platform has multiple applications and is capable of providing all OEM clients with their own set of uniquely coded products.
In the anticipation of higher volume requirements, the Company has partnered with local contract electronic manufacturers. These manufacturers have automated assembly lines with more than sufficient manufacturing capacity, capable of producing 40,000 units per day.
In addition, the Company has completed its $1.6MM recapitalization program. It has increased its working capital position and eliminated all long term debt.
