A3 Technologies has enhanced the services offered in the «Hot Spares» Program to include full wireless configurations for portable data terminals, 802.11 access points, and wireless printers.
«Many customers have taken advantage of our Hot Spares Program», remarked Steve Allen, President of A3. «Instead of storing spare terminals, printers, and access points in their facility with someone assigned to keep track of that equipment, A3 maintains those devices in our secure, climate-controlled warehouse. If a terminal is damaged or an access point fails, A3 will pre-configure the devices to match the customer's system settings, encryption, logon credentials, layered security topology, and more. We load their application program on the terminals and charge the batteries, or set the proper SSID, AP Name, and Channel on an access point. Then we send the unit overnight and it's ready to go to join their network when it arrives.»
